The intraoral camera is a tiny video camera the size of a pen, designed to capture images within the mouth and display them on a nearby computer monitor.

Since the camera magnifies images within the mouth, the doctors can more clearly see tiny irregularities that could be missed with an unaided visual inspection.

This technique also provides you, the patient, a close-up view of your teeth enabling you to see the current status of your mouth.
